Asherman's syndrome; uterine adhesions; uterine scarring; uterine synechiae

Etiology: - generally a result of overly vigorous curettage Pathology: - intrauterine adhesions (scarring) with destruction of the endometrium Clinical manifestations: - amenorrhea to normal menstrual periods - menstrual pain without vaginal bleeding Special laboratory: - hysteroscopy Radiology: - transvaginal ultrasound diagnostic [2] Management: - surgery - hysteroscopy +/- laparoscopy
